About the Speaker
Tim Potter
Tim graduated from the RVC and then went onto to complete a farm animal residency and a PhD focussing on the management of calf pneumonia. After completion of his PhD he left the RVC for a job in practice and has spent the last 15 years working with calf rearers raising dairy-beef calves across the UK: setting up new calf units, providing proactive health advice and data monitoring services and troubleshooting health and production. In the last 6 months he has taken a technical role in industry where he still continues to work with vets and farmers advising on best practice for calf rearing and helping investigate health issues on farm.
