Please note that only Mobility Mentors with RoMS accreditation are eligible to take this training.

The AHDB Healthy Feet Programme is a structured approach to lameness management on dairy farms. It is delivered by Mobility Mentors who have undergone specific training in the delivery of the programme. To find out more about becoming a Mobility Mentor click here.

This refresher is for fully trained Mobility Mentors who wish to remain ‘active’, with a requirement that the training is undertaken every two years. Please note that Mobility Mentors must also be RoMS accredited. The refresher aims to update Mobility Mentors on new evidence in the field of lameness and any changes to the Healthy Feet Programme and its supporting resources.

The course consists of two half hour recorded presentations. Following the presentations, there is a set of multiple choice questions to complete based on the course content. On completion of the course, Mobility Mentors will have their membership renewed for two years.

Registration for the refresher course costs £30 for BCVA members and £55 for non-members.
